Episode notes

In this episode, we welcomed Liam Shoesmith Head Gardener/ Dept Parks Manager for Truro City Council to the podcast.

The three questions, which lead us down some interesting avenues of debate, were;

- If you were in charge of the country what would you concentrate on in regards to nature?

- Our currency is seemingly focused on the upward curve of growth. Would it work if our currency was more focused on the downward curve of reducing carbon emissions? What would that look like in reality in the form of currency and on daily life, and would that realistically reverse mans impact on naturally occurring climate change?

- There are still many people, including those who hold power, that refuse to either believe in climate change and that we as humans are the cause. Should we try to engage with them, change their minds? Or do we concentrate our efforts on helping those who do believe to make changes in their lives that will help the cause?
