32年前，當天安門廣場上開始聚集學生、工人、市民、知識份子，討論民主、要求民權、爭取新聞自由，台灣攝影師謝三泰就在現場。
40天、1,000多張照片，謝三泰記錄下第一個鏡頭，是學生們因中共前總書記胡耀邦逝世而展開的悼念，鄧小平下令戒嚴後，謝三泰被迫離開，他最後拍下的是民眾憤怒地往廣場上巨幅毛澤東像潑漆的畫面。從學生集會到國家軍力鎮壓前夕，謝三泰拍下關鍵的歷史轉折。
本集節目，謝三泰分享那些照片背後，他在廣場上，與中國學生、記者之間的互助、互信，以及在武力鎮壓、血腥衝突之後，他收到的來自廣場上那最後一段充滿跑步聲、哀號以及槍響的音檔。
一起回憶32年前的那場運動，記住民主從何而來，於是我們謹慎地思考未來。
