The XR Stories & SIGN Podcast
By XR Stories
The second series of the XR Stories and SIGN podcast explores the latest developments, challenges and opportunities in Virtual Production (VP) across the UK. We chat to guests working in and around VP practice and R&D about subjects including sound design, data ethics, simulation and Artificial Intelligence. The podcast also investigates the impact of VP on Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI), skills, and sustainability in the creative industries.
The first series of the podcast was released in 2021 and delves into ten immersive storytelling projects funded by XR Stories.
XR Stories supports companies working in digital technologies in the Yorkshire and Humber region. We do this through funding, research collaboration and connection. We work across film, TV, games, media arts, heritage, advertising and technology to champion a new future in storytelling. XR Stories is a £15M investment by AHRC, ERDF, the University of York, the British Film Institute and Screen Yorkshire.
