Nick Wilson’s journey into the arboriculture industry began with his family’s longstanding involvement in the field, as his parents operated a successful tree care company in the 1970s. Growing up immersed in the trade, Nick developed a deep passion for arboriculture. He further honed his skills at Merrist Wood College and gained valuable international experience working in New Zealand and Australia. These experiences, alongside his family background, equipped him with the knowledge and expertise to start his own venture, Green Line Arb.
Nick’s platform, Green Line Arb, connects arboriculture professionals with households and businesses to recycle tree by-products like wood and chippings, promoting sustainability and environmentally conscious practices. In addition to launching the platform, Nick is also known for his commitment to sustainability, evident through his development of an app that connects households with free wood products, reducing waste and supporting eco-friendly initiatives. His dedication to environmental causes extends beyond business, as demonstrated by his completion of an 88-mile walk along Hadrian’s Wall to raise funds for the National Trust and the Wilderness Foundation.
