Charlotte and Syd share many core values, and during the chat we get some really useful insights, including:

• The role of a private tutor is much more fulfilling than working within a traditional school environment.  Charlotte gets to choose how she teaches, and no longer has to "toe the party line", when she doesn't believe in the policies.
  
  
• Marking work can be a time consuming task, but Charlotte would never outsource it, because it helps her understand more about the student, and their progress.
  
  
• Life experience and learning about culture is of massive importance to educators.  It helps us pass our knowledge on, use stories and personal experiences to teach students, which assists in instilling important values. (Note to self: Travel more often 😊)
