All Safe, Aren't We?

Listen on

Episode notes

Steve and Adam have returned from their holidays just in time to see Grimsby all but secure their football league status with an impressive 3-0 win at promotion chasing Crewe, only their second win on the road all season. The guys review the performance and then pose the million dollar question, surely we can’t mess it up from here? Jason provides our first ‘Away Days Diary’ from the defeat at Harrogate last Tuesday and then attentions turn to the Mariners next two games away at fellow strugglers Colchester midweek and at home to Swindon next Saturday; Rich from the Swindon fan podcast “The Loathed Strangers” providing insight on The Robin’s season so far. There’s also another inductee to the ‘21st Century GTFC Ultimate XI’ and a history lesson from Adam as we find out the significance of the aptly named ex Mariners goalkeeper Frederick Howard Whalley...
