Do Good and Do Well
062 Social Impact and Rest - Power of Women Thanet Festival 2024
Episode notes
It's been a while and we're kicking off a new series with a recording of a live episode we did for the Power of Women (POW) Thanet festival.
I am joined by three changemakers - all of whom have their own relationship and stories of rest: business owner and experienced coach for weary women leaders, Annette Corbett; award-winning comedian, author (The Breakup Monologues, Is Monogamy Dead?) and podcaster Rosie Wilby; and performer storyteller, kindness campaigner and author (How to Be Hopeful, Little Book of Kindness) Bernadette Russell.
Together we shared our own experience of rest and types of rest, discussed where these stories and beliefs have come from and explored how (and if) we can really rest when there is so much ‘good’ to be done in the world.
The other voice you hear is Ruby Rare who hosted the digital day on behalf of POW Thanet.
