Episode notes

A brief overview of the difference between Functional, Cellular, and Regenerative Medicine, and why it's needed for optimal patient care. The practice of medicine is typically focused on one system (ex: GI, Cardiac, Endocrine), and is symptom treatment oriented. In functional medicine we look at the patient as a whole, taking into account all modifiable lifestyle factors to prevent and treat disease. All systems are interrelated and addressed as we uncover the root cause of a symptom or disease diagnosis.

Cellular medicine approaches disease by looking at what is going on in the body at a cellular level. Cell therapies are utilized to return the cell to its natural balance.

Regenerative medicine utilizes cells and therapies to replace, repair, and optimize damaged tissue and reverse disease.

All of these medical specialties can truly help you Change The Way You Age.
