Listen on

Episode notes

In this episode, Laura is joined by Dr. Tony Robinson, a prolific strategist, and advisor with a proven track record in serving and training executives, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to hear God's voice for prophetic strategies and solutions for their businesses. From start-ups to multimillion-dollar companies, She has mentored and advised faith-based leaders across the globe on how to activate God's assignment over themselves and their organizations. Tony is no stranger to what she calls "dream disruptions," navigating through life’s many transitions and challenges, including the sudden and devastating loss of her husband of 25 years.

In the space of these disruptions, she learned to partner with God courageously and walk in His dreams for her life. Having learned firsthand what it means to "dream another dream," she has successfully built what was once unimaginable. Now, as a dynamic dream catalyst, she passionately teaches and encourages others to achieve their God-sized dreams with Him. Today, Tony shares her path from navigating immense challenges to partnering with God in her healing journey. We also discuss the importance of grieving authentically, leaning into faith during difficult times, and embracing rediscovering one's identity.

Are you looking to explore vulnerability's far-reaching impact and the rewards of embracing authenticity? Tune in now!

Notable Quotes
  • The one thing that I will not do is I will not be sad every day for the rest of my life. I will look for something to be joyful. To be grateful every day for the rest of my life. So, that was a huge place to grab hold to walk out of the process.
  • We have permission to be soft and lean into what that healing process looks like.
  • Sometimes it looks like a dream disruption, but it is an interruption of something better or greater.
  • Every place of pain has become a place of reign. And so when you are going through any type of process, surround yourself with people who will challenge you to live, dream, and breathe.
  • We have to let go of how they died to honor how they lived. Because if we get stuck on the thing that died like my business died, and I can't, you know, my husband died, and you know, like my two nieces that were killed. And if I don't let go of how they died, I can't honor how they live because I'll be more married to their death than I am to their life.
  • There is no greater love than a man to lay down his life for his friends.
  • When we don't take the invitation to get up and live, we dishonor the person we were who fought and struggled. Yeah. Because, no matter what we're going through, we're fighting for love, and we're fighting for freedom, and we're fighting for hope, and sometimes the end of it doesn't look like we thought it would be.
  • If we don't get up and live, then that woman inside of you that all the time was fighting for life and hope and life, we dishonor that part of ourselves because now we're in the answer of where the living answer to the prayer we prayed.
