Episode notes

Really enjoyed this episode with Tony. He was down to earth, insightful, and offered several tidbits of wisdom. Tony is a veteran in the fitness industry and someone I (and many others) have looked up to over the years, so it was great to have a chat. I wanted to see how he has been managing his business and mental health during Coronavirus, how his injury rehab has been going, how he got started in the fitness industry, how to thrive in uncertain conditions, and much more. Most importantly, I'm stoked we got to talk about his love for movies/TV shows, and about how he manages free time now that he's a dad, husband, and business owner. He didn't disappoint!

The bio from his site is a good indicator of how this podcast went (plus, it tells you about him):

Tony Gentilcore is one of the co-founders of Cressey Sports Performance, which really should have been called "Cressilcore Sports Performance" because that sounds like an awesome castle where a wizard lives (and plays sports).

He's no longer coaching there, but his legacy remains. Tony's Techno Tuesdays will live on forever.

When he’s not picking things up and putting them down himself, he trains people at his studio, CORE, located in Boston, MA. He also contributes to the top fitness magazines and websites around, and sets up a camera in his garage to record his lightsaber skills.

He lives in Boston. With his wife, Lisa, and son, Julian. And cat, Dagny.
